Forever Townhome: Townhome Refresh for Empty Nesters

When empty nesters downsized into this beautiful townhome, they wanted it to feel updated, stylish, and reflective of their new chapter. While major renovations weren’t possible, we knew a few smart design choices would make a big impact.

Painting the entire main floor one cohesive color created instant continuity and a welcoming flow. A bold fireplace tile makes a striking first impression, while layers of texture—leather, rattan, and a tight neutral palette—bring warmth and comfort to the living space. In the dining room, oversized artwork and a focal light fixture add drama and personality.

One of the most transformative changes was adding a “window” in the kitchen wall—bringing in natural light and encouraging conversation flow, all without structural changes or permits. Small updates, big results.
